Traveling with Mom

Finally I had a chance to travel with my mama to overseas. I chose Bangkok for the destination because it's not too far, not too expensive and has a delicious food and we both never been to Bangkok. Well, actually I made this trip to celebrate her birthday, however I couldn't make it on June 23rd so it delayed a month. We went to Bangkok on July 21st. And it was so good! We had a fun time and I'm glad that she enjoyed the trip, well she was a lil bit tired but it's okay. lol.

Anyway, I will tell you some of our funny moments while in Bangkok.

#1 "Where do you wanna go Mom?"
A month before we go to Bangkok, I have asked my mom which places of Bangkok that she wanted to visit. And she just said, "I don't know, just pick that you think is nice" I said to her that I will make the itinerary and she can see it first. I made the itinerary for shopping, culinary and some attractions to visit. My mom didn't say anything and said nothing to it. So I think everything is okay. 

Two days before we were going home, she said: "We are in Bangkok, we should go to the palace" I said that it's ok, we can made it for tomorrow as the last day, so I just reduce time for shopping. I put shopping at the last day trip so I think it doesn't matter.  I was so tired that night so I will find the way to the palace in the morning. And I shocked, I found that we need to buy the ticket online at least 24 hours prior the day. I told my mom this issue and she looked upset. I think the palace idea come because she saw a lot of pictures of the King in the city. LOL.

#2 "Mom, please take my photos too.."
My mom like to take photos and she also like to get photos too. So she just concern that she had a good photos at every corner that attracted her. At some moments I took her photos and I also want to get photos at her spots. "Mom, please take my photos too, just like I get yours" My mom come and take my phones. She said, "Okay.." I can see that see took a lot of photos and I came to her to see it. "Mama, let me look..were my poses good?" and I shocked..none of my photos there.. "Mom, where are my photos? it just your last photos I taken before?" My mom also shocked, she said "Haahh? how come..? I did take many of yours.." HAHAHA. I'm pretty sure she didn't push the button well, and she didn't noticed that none of photos taken. lol.

Sebuah kesempatan membuat cerita

Seorang bisa memiliki banyak harta dan kedudukan yang membuatnya dapat disanjung. Namun apakah saat harta dan kedudukan itu ia miliki, ia masih memiliki waktu untuk membuat cerita yang ia inginkan? 

Jangan pernah menyiakan kesempatan untuk membuat cerita dengan orang tuamu. Penyesalan terbesar yang aku alami adalah aku menyiakan banyak kesempatan untuk membuat cerita dengan papa. Tidak ingin kehilangan kesempatan lagi akupun segera mengambil kesempatan untuk membuat cerita dengan mama.

Selama 4 hari 3 malam, aku dan mama jalan-jalan ke Bangkok. Cerita perjalanan dengan mama ini aku set dengan santai. Perjalanan dimulai tanggal 21 July dengan rute: DPS-x/CGK-BKK. Awalnya aku mengajak mama ke Bangkok karena aku ingin menginap di Hotel bintang 5 disana. Reservasi sudah aku lakukan dan tanggal sudah confirmed. Ternyata aku salah melihat lokasi hotel yang nyatanya ada di Samui, bukan di Bangkok. Samui adalah sebuah pulau di Thailand dan untuk kesana perlu naik pesawat lagi sehingga waktu untuk traveling dapat menjadi lebih lama. Akhirnya aku putuskan untuk membatalkan reservasi hotel tersebut dan memilih hotel lain di Bangkok. Hotel pilihanku adalah Grand Business Inn. Bukan hotel bintang 5, namun  bersih, terlebih lokasinya sangat strategis. Hanya 50 langkah ke stasiun BTS Nana, sebelah stasiun terdapat seven eleven sebelah, samping dan depan hotel ada money changer dengan rate yang cukup bagus.

Selama 4 hari 3 malam, tanggal 21 -24 Juli aku mendapat kesempatan untuk membuat cerita bersama mama. Tentu dengan papa di surga juga. Penasaran? Check my next post ya :)
